"Emily's presentation was stellar: well-organized with keywords and vibrant visuals (especially loved her Sea Monster Map). Her passion for [design] and determination to positively impact the lives of her users were palpable throughout her talk.

I also thoroughly enjoyed her story mapping activity. Participants broke into 4 groups and collaborated with one another to map a scenario for a fake product. Iā€™m a firm believer in interactive learning, and though Emily explained it well in her presentation, having the opportunity to try it out was invaluable.

Several of us were gushing afterwards that we can't wait for the next "Day in the Life" talk. Thank you to Michelle for organizing this event, to everyone who volunteered, and to Emily, who I hope will come back and share with us again soon!"
